Picture 365

I have seen some people saying they were going to take a picture of their kiddo every day for a year.  Now, I would love to do that for all five of mine; however, let's be realistic...I won't remember to take all 5 kids' pictures everyday for a year.  I do think I can take at least one picture everyday for a year of something.  So my goal is to show you, the reader, what I do everyday for a year. I may not be blogging everyday, you may get a month of pictures all in 1 day, these pictures may be taken with my iphone, and many of them will not be edited. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...

So now for the first picture of the year taken January 2, 2011

This image is from a "words with friends" game that I was playing...It's my highest word score ever--111 points. My grandma would be proud :) She used to get together with friends and play scrabble, I do the same thing, but over the 3g network. Wow, technology is great.  I remember her, my grandma, having scrabble dictionaries. Yes, I meant plural, because one didn't always have all the words that the other one had :) I remember her counting the tiles, placing them on the tile holder, and then placing the words on the deluxe scrabble board. She had to have the deluxe version, because it turned and the tiles wouldn't move out of their carefully, placed spot.  This is one memory of my grandma, Doris Wilcox Johnson (that's what her facebook name would have been, had she been around to have a facebook page), a from a child's point of view,  because she died, when I was still a child.
