Picture 358: kid number #5...Willow Emilie

Willow Emilie, is our 5th child and our 3rd daughter. She is a spunky little girl, whose personality is just starting to sprout. She likes to be like the big kids, but loves being the baby.  She has an uncanny resemblance to our 3rd child 2nd daughter, Delaney.  If it were not for her clothes, it would be hard to tell the two apart, in pictures.

Willow was born at home on September 22, 2009.  She was my VBAC baby.  I did not go for another cesarian, because at the time I got pregnant with her, I wasn't sure if I was DONE having kids.  I had her at home, because I didn't want to share a room at the hospital. The hospital I was supposed to have her at, did not offer private rooms.  I had never shared a room with my 4 previous births and I was not going to share for my 5th.  It may sound petty of me, but oh well.

Eric was deployed at the time, of her birth and he did not meet her until she was 5 months old, and that was only for 2 weeks. Then he finally was able to start being her daddy when she was 9 months old.  It was tough being a "single" mom of 5 kids, don't ask me how I did it, cause honestly--I.DON'T.KNOW!!!!

Willow Badillow, as we like to call her, is now a fun loving 16 month old. She loves her sisters, especially Alison. She is just now starting to form a playful relationship with her older brother Matt.  She loves her new dog, Gunner...everytime she sees him she signs and says dog. I love when she signs a new sign that I taught her. If you look closely in this next picture, she is getting ready to say and sign more...

Another special thing I would like to share about Willow, is that she has a habit of sleeping holding on to something...she has held her hands, my hand, Eric's hand, a glue bottle, a ruler, a headband, and many other objects.
